This is my world as I see it—you might see it my way, you might not.
Julie Gribble lives in Gallatin County in southern Illinois. She has two teenage sons—Brandon and Luc.
Julie’s world involves taking kids to school and picking them up. It also involves going to A LOT of ballgames. Her always opinionated and often sentimental journeys are what fills her blog daily. Her house is filled with two kids, three computers, one camera and two cats.
In Julie’s former life she was a graphic artist and creative director. She gave this all up in October of 2007 to become a freelance artist, professional photographer and blogger. The more she blogged the more she found out that she was just like everybody in the world—living one day at a time and doing the best she can.
Julie contributes regularly to:
realgcnews.com (All the news of Gallatin County)
gribco.com (Her personal blog)
areasportstv.com (This blog, just posted there too)

“I'd like to have money. And I'd like to be a good writer. These two can come together, and I hope they will, but if that's too adorable, I'd rather have money.” -Dorothy Parker
"The good writing of any age has always been the product of someone's neurosis, and we'd have mighty dull literature if all the writers that came along were a bunch of happy chuckleheads."-William Styron
“I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had absolutely no other place to go.” -Abraham Lincoln
This is my attempt to share my world with you. Sometimes it's exciting—sometimes it's dull. I'll take you with me through my journey of life. Remember, this is my blog and I write whatever I am feeling at any given time. These are my opinions and nobody elses. Please leave me your comments, both good and bad. You can contact me at julie [at] gribco [dot] com anytime with ideas, comments or just to chat.
